The Wusthof Epicure Santoku Knife, also known as a ‘three uses’ knife is mainly ideal for three tasks: mincing, dicing, and slicing. Featuring a dimpled blade, this knife creates air pockets and prevents friction between the blade and the ingredient that is being cut to ensure even and precise slices. Compared to a Western style knife, this Santoku Knife is also much lighter and features a thinner blade that is useful for slivering cuts of boneless meats and a variety of vegetables. The blade has been sharpened to an ideal 15° angle for sharp and precise cuts, and the knife comes with a thick full edge, a half-bolster, and a wider curved knife handle to provide the user with a comfortable grip and feel.
