The Wusthof Crafter series is one of Wusthof’s nine collections, featuring traditional brass rivets, water resistant rustic smoked oak shell handles, and Wusthof’s signature trident branded onto the handles. The blades are forged using strong, resilient stainless steel (X50CRMOV15), with a Rockwell hardness of 58 to help ensure the blade’s durability and cutting precision for years to come. The Wusthof Crafter Santoku Knife, otherwise known as a ‘three uses’ knife, is ideal for mincing, dicing and slicing. This knife’s blade is dimpled for air pockets to ensure there is no friction between the blade and the meat, and that the blade glides through food with ease. With a thick, full edge blade, half bolster, and a wider curved knife handle, this knife is also designed to give the user a comfortable and balanced hold of the knife. This Wusthof Crafter Santoku Knife 17cm is also lighter and thinner compared to a western style knife, making it ideal for slicing through thin, boneless meats, fish, and vegetables. With Wusthof’s PEtec technology, the blade has also been sharpened to an ideal 15° angle so that every slice is smooth and perfect.
